To Johnny and the Band,
Thanks for making Rob’s farewell a most fantastic night. The Band’s play list was right 'on the mark' and had everyone up dancing. It was so easy to arrange everything and Freewheelin’ accommodated time for the speeches stage and a few antics that made a great party! I will definitely be dancing to Freewheelin’ again soon. Thank you so much Johnny and the Freewheelin team...

We had a great time and many people have said to us that the music made the day. The CD is great – thank you so much. It's nice to have that as a memory! I look forward to seeing you guys again - most probably in the Jazz Festival!

Uniquely Nelson wishes to thank Freewheelin' for performing at their Market Day on Saturday 03 February. You attracted a very good audience and your music was very well received. I had many very positive comments. Thank you again and I will contact you before 2008 Market Day regarding performing again next year...

I simply want to thank you very much for the music yesterday. The songs you played and the way you played them was perfect, and our guests loved it. And thanks for the support for me to sing my dear wife a song. I enjoyed that very much...

This well-known Nelson band love to get their audience moving! Their repertoire draws on classics from the Great American Songbook, as well as favourite Latin grooves. With their many years of musical experience, band members Johnny Morris on keyboard, son Paul Morris on drums, and Trevor Hunter on 5-string electric bass ably support the fine vocals of Rachel Fallows and the rich jazzy sound of Annabel Boyes and Andrew Leachman on tenor and baritone saxes.

Their sound varies from sublime swing that you can't help tapping your foot to, all the way to bittersweet blues that'll have you dreamin' of New Orleans.... throw into the mix some tender ballads, a pinch of Latin heat, and a generous helping of expertly choreographed instrumental solos that'll get the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. Now you're a fraction of the way to feeling the Freewheelin' vibe! Miss them and you risk depriving yourself of a jazz and blues cocktail that will soothe your soul!
